We are currently looking for Plant Vehicle Team Total Value Management Engineer to join ourProduct Development Team. The position will be based onGölcük/Kocaeli.

Job Description:

• Coordinate cost reduction studies for Exterior / Powertrain components of the vehicles in production at Kocaeli Plant

• Support employee suggestions for Exterior / Powertrain components, check feasibility and implement feasible ones with proper validation tests

• Track Exterior / Powertrain cost reduction ideas raised by Manufacturing, OPD and other departments to achieve yearly cost reduction targets of ongoing products

• Generate new cost reduction ideas with proper techniques like benchmarking

• Track progress of every TVM concern for Exterior / Powertrain until release and implementation at the line

• Attend weekly meetings held for cost reduction and report out the status of Exterior / Powertrain team vs set target 

Requirements:

• Bsc Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics and Metallurgy and Materials (especially in Mechanical Engineering)

• D&R Engineering experience is an asset 

• Knowledge and experience of project management is an asset 

• Excellent communications and presentation skills and ability to operate in a diverse environment with teams across different nationalities, cultures and time zones; excellent networking skills 

• Advanced level of English both written and spoken

• Experience in these positions is a plus
