Must Have Skills

• Bachelor, MSc or PhD degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering from a reputable university,
• Software/firmware development in one or more languages/platforms/libraries (C/C++, Python, MATLAB/SimuLink, CUDA,OpenCL, ROS)
• Fluency in English,
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature

Experience and Background Skills Desired

• Experience in Perception / Computer Vision
• Background in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Knowledge in Path Planning, Localization and Vehicle Motion Control
• High Linux and Linux software development experience

The following are not required but are a plus:

• German language
• No military service obligation          

İŞ TANIMI

• Do you want to be at the technological forefront of autonomous vehicles’ development? This is your opportunity to join the ‘Smart Vehicle Team’ of FEV Turkey.
• Autonomous driving requires the development and deployment of advanced electronic hardware, software design, and sophisticated control strategies.
• Engineers in this team are actively working on:
• Development of different levels of autonomous driving functions ranging from Level 2 up to Level 4,
• Develop and maintain software to acquire various sensor inputs including Cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS and IMU,
• Develop and maintain recognition algorithms based on sensor raw data and object data
• Develop data/sensor fusion algorithms
• Develop advanced decision making, motion planning and low-level control algorithms of different AV features
• Working on different validation techniques of AV features
• Working jointly with cross-functional teams in the adaptation of existing vehicle subsystems and components for autonomous vehicle applications 
• Support safety analysis according to ISO 26262 Functional Safety, including item definition, hazard and risk assessmentas well as ASIL decomposition to derive an optimal fail-operational architecture
