Brake Systems Engineer

General Requirements:

• Great enthusiasm for working on vehicle development projects
• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aviation, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university
• Fluency in English, German will be plus
• Military service completed (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years experience on brake system design and integration
• Excellent communication skills
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, result-oriented and ready to take self-initiative

Job Description / Technical requirements:

• Design and development of commercial vehicle brakes systems, ABS, ASR, EBS, ESP etc.
• Selection of brakes system components
• Brake system diagnostic
• Knowledge on ECE 13 regulation, failure modes, adhesion curve
• Ability to read and understand the calculation documents
• Experience on 3D development tools (i.e. NX, CREO, CATIA)
• Supplier coordination and guidance in all phases of development
• Prototype and vehicle launch support, take lead in technical and build related issues resolution
• Preparing test and validation plans, take lead in engineering sign off
• Support other development teams in a cross functional organization
