About the Role:

We are looking for an Istanbul based "Financial Reporting Specialist" who will be directly reporting to Financial Reporting Manager. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below:

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end financial closure activities
• Preparation of monthly financial statements in line with Group standards (IFRS)
• Perform periodic intercompany reconciliation
• Check accuracy, integrity, completeness, consistency of financial reporting data
• Check and analyze the financial figures by channel, brand and customer level
• Provide governance over the monthly closing procedures of the company, identify improvement areas and suggest remediation actions when necessary
• Working in collaboration with accounting and controlling teams
• Support developing and carrying out new projects to improve the efficiency of the reporting
• Perform adhoc reporting and analysis as required by management
• Being key contact for external auditors

Qualifications:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related fields
• Min.4-5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit background is a must
• SAP knowledge is preferable
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent knowledge of MS office applications
• Teamwork oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinking ability with strong planning and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, result oriented and having attention to details
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities and meet deadlines
