Logistics Specialist

We are looking for a “Logistics Specialist” for one of our client who is a leading global company in mining industry.

The ideal candidate willl be reporting to Logistics Chief and Supply Chain Manager, ideally is/has;

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, International Trade and Logistics, Foreign Trade, or Engineering,

• 5 years experience in logistics function,

• Experienced in logistics planning, coordination and reporting,

• Have knowledge about the regulation of transport of dangerous goods by road (ADR),

• Strong oral and written reporting, communication skills and organizational aspects,

• Developed problem solving, analysis and decision making skills,

• Suitable for teamwork,

• Good command of spoken and written English,

• Preferably using SAP enterprise planning software,

• Male candidates must have completed military service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Planning of all chemical and consumption materials needed by the operation unit and monitoring of the whole process until the delivery to the site.

• Carrying out and following up the logistics operations with the relevant transportation companies,

• Procurement and follow-up of all necessary documents from shipping companies before shipment

• Taking active part in the pre-entry control process of the trucks coming to the field,

• To have superficial knowledge about purchasing and storage,

• Regularly entering the follow-up results of the order status into the SAP ERP system,

• Reporting.
