QUALIFICATIONS

·      University degree inMechanical Engineering

·      Excellent command of written and spoken English

·      Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical installations especially in Oil and Gas Industry. Site experience in construction and/or upgrading projects of refinery/oil terminals is preferred

·      Strong written/verbal presentation and communication skills

·      Demonstrated technical design and problem-solving skills

·      Experience in mechanical completion and commissioning phases of projects

·      Ability to read and understand pipe specifications and standards

·      Ability to produce engineering documents including design drawings, installation manuals, procedures, work instructions etc.

·      Awareness and proven performance in conformance to HSE and QA/QC requirements

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Primavera, knowledge of softwares such as AUTOCAD, PDMS or 3D-CAD or equivalent is plus

·      Experience and familiarity with the applicable international codes and standards

·      Ability to work in an international environment

·      Comfortable with working to tight deadlines

·      Ability to share the knowledge and experience with the team members

·      Ability to work in an office environment and willing to travel throughout Turkey and internationally for business needs

JOB DESCRIPTION

·      To plan and manage all project related contracts, subcontractors and purchase orders from the beginning to the end of the project.

·      To review contracts, offers, requests, agreements and disputes and share ideas about them.

·      To develop and implement standard contract documentation for tender, proposal, contract and contract correspondence in accordance with contract terms and conditions.

·      To report on contractual issues before and after the contract is signed.

·      To plan and supervise all construction activities at the site.

·      To provide assistance in the development of schedule and work plans for the execution of the project.

·      To prepare / coordinate the method statements and risk assessments for the site activities.

·      To ensure full conformance with the requirements of Project QA/QC and HSSE Plans during the execution of the project.

·      To prepare the bill of quantities (BOQ), determine the technical specifications of the requested materials and prepare the order requests.

·      To determine and / or verify the work scope and technical requirements, issue subcontractor requests when needed.

·      To support the QC team for the preparation of ITPs.

·      To review the related engineering documents according to the contractual requirements and the relevant international, EN / Turkish standards and regulations.

·      To participate in site inspection activities when needed.

·      To coordinate / provide support on mechanical completion and commissioning.

·      To review, record and follow-up the comments from the employer representatives and take appropriate actions.

·      To implement the change management procedure when needed.

·      To provide full support to Project Management, QA/QC and HSE teams in the implementation of QA/QC and HSE Plans on site.

·      To provide full support to the project control department for project planning and cost control.

·      To carry out necessary activities to ensure the continuity of the Integrated Management System and to continuously improve its effectiveness.
