Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (environmental engineering is preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety, health and environment
• Good Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation,
• Have an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate B Class and Environmental Certificate,
• Have an DGSA certificate is preferred
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, fast in action but with detailed planning,
• Self motivated, positive and energetic, creative, eager to learn continuously,
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Living in Istanbul/Asia.

Job Description

• Define corporate and project related QHSE risks.
• Ensure all incidents are properly notified, investigated, reviewed and followed-up.
• Conduct in-depth investigation and statistical analyses on incidents.
• Implementing QHSE (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) and Sustainability plans/programs and monitoring SHE KPIs as monthly, quarterly and annually in order to sustain good SHE system.
• Taking QHSE Responsible role in projects aspect of Health, Safety,Environment and Quality (Risk assessments, legal and EVAS requirements, legal applications etc.)
• Providing monthly basis safety, health and environment reports to management.
• Maintaining effective SHE and management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).
• Making legislative works to prevent accidents, fires and explosions in the workplace and follow them.
• To prepare emergency plans for situations such as natural disasters, accidents, fires or explosions.
• To provide and follow periodical trainings and drills.
• To cooperate with the workplace doctor to make evaluation about occupational accidents and occupational diseases, to prepare necessary preventive action plans by carrying out examination and research for not repeating dangerous events and to follow up the application.
• To prepare the annual safety work plan in cooperation with the workplace doctor.
• Create, review, monitor quality, safety and environmental documentation system.
• Check the documentation requirements & specifications.
