Job Description

• Manage procurement processes of goods, services, consultancy and subcontracting services
• Represent the best interest of the company in all procurement processes by preparing the purchase orders and contracts by considering the commercial, financial, legal, insurance and tax related clauses
• Preparation of tender packages in accordance with the requirements of the relevant investment projects
• Management of tendering process from initiation to close-out
• Management of the commercial terms of the contracts from initiation to close-out
• Identify the alternative supplier firms and update the potential supplier lists
• Ensure appropriate documentation for all procurement transactions
• Prepare/control import/export, customs etc. documents of the ordered materials and equipment, coordinate the logistics activities (if required) and to ensure their delivery
• Responsible for the return, replacement and repair and follow up of the products which are returned due to malfunction or defects for purchases
• Communicate with the technical, legal affairs, finance & accounting department and coordination of these departments for the contractual issues
• Keep track of purchase orders, contracts and only head office and operations’ addendums, bank guarantees and PCG, validity/due and all other critical dates
• Endure continuous communication with key suppliers to support project teams
• Monitor the contractors/supplier/consultants’ compliance to contractual requirements from initiation until close-out in coordination with Project Management
• Manage / Improve SAP MM & PS, Primavera, Unifier processes & procurement interfaces
• Support claim management process
• Comply with the Ethical Standards and Principles of the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering desirable
• Minimum 3 years of Procurement & Contracting experience is required
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and teamwork skills
• Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Primavera etc.
• Very good analytical and critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Military service must be completed or defered for male candidates
• No restriction for travelling
