Contract and Claims Management Specialist

Qualifications: 

• At least three years of hands-on experience in project/contract administration and claims  management, 
• IACCM Certification is preferred, 
• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, 
• Very good command of the English language, 
• Advanced computer literacy in Windows, Project, Outlook, Word & Excel – programming Gantt project charts in MS Project, Primevara (Unifier) with regular updates to critical paths will be a core requirement,
• FIDIC and ad-hoc contracts know-how, 
• Updated knowledge of international and domestic contract management and contract law, 
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, flexible and results oriented nature, 
• Good team worker communicating ideas clearly and effectively. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Conducting contract and claim processes throughout the contract life cycle from the tender phase till contract close-out during the construction phase of industrial plant projects in coordination with project, procurement, legal teams etc., 
• Preparing and supporting tender, pre-bid documentation, clarifications, evaluation for the contract scope, 
• Conducting contract negotiation processes with the contractors, preparing the final documents for signature, 
• Drafting and reviewing all contractual documents (contracts, amendments, protocols etc.) and post contract correspondences, i.e. formal claim letters, 
• Supporting and preparing contract extensions/change order management/contractual performance measurement, 
• Closely monitoring contractual performance, project time schedules and taking necessary contractual actions, 
• Analysing claims and counter-claims, both financial (additional payment etc.) and technical (EoT, New Unit Price etc.), performing delay analysis, evaluating claims in all aspects, 
• Handling and leading tasks related to business excellence, process standardization, Best Practices & Lessons Learned in relation to the Contract Management activities, 
• Providing contractual support in arbitration processes and all legal procedures, 
• Generating reports on all levels in relation to the contract and claim management activities.
