ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. has founded at 1957, is a recognized international EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) Company has designed and built many Projects for Oil and Gas Process, Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) Projects, Simple Cycle Power Plants (SCPP) Projects, Coal Fired Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Pipeline&Pump Stations, Well Pad Facilities, and the Tank Farms in all over the world up to date.

ENKA has its own `in-house` multi-disciplinary engineering team that performs all design services required for the development of above mentioned projects. ENKA Engineering team carries out Conceptual (FEED), Basic and Detailed engineering for the Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Civil & Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

ENKA Engineering organization comprises of 3 main divisions located in Istanbul Head Quarter - Engineering Offices in Turkey;

·       ENKA Civil, Structural and Infrastructural,

·       ENKA Architectural Design, and

·       ENKA Energy Engineering.

ENKA Energy Engineering is seeking for new teammates who will become the member of ENKA’s design & engineering team located in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking to hire an Mechanical Design Engineer to be employed within the Energy Projects Design Center in Our Head Office in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of engineering work experience about major mechanical equipment and systems

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Good knowledge of MS Office programs

• Strong communication skills, team worker

• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic

• Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines

• No restriction to travel and stay abroad when needed

• No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carrying out mechanical design works of the various major mechanical equipment (especially for rotating equipment), packages and systems used in the industrial projects related to oil & gas, power plant, refinery projects

• Preparing of mechanical design deliverables including but not limited to; design basis, sizing calculation, technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluation reports, etc.

• Exchanging the information with the other engineering disciplines and coordinating the inter-disciplinary documents reviews and other related engineering works jointly developed 

• Review and approve the Suppliers/Manufacturers' documentation

• Be the technical interface and focal point with Clients and other 3rd Parties

• Attending Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Test
