QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Executive Assistant to work in our Ankara office located in ODTÜ Teknokent

Work with a global team, funded by Google Ventures, on a product that utilizes cutting-edge technology. 

EnglishCentral Turkey is the newest R&D center of EnglishCentral Inc, located in state of the art new building of  ODTU Teknokent located in the center of Ankara.

EnglishCentral is a global leader e-learning company headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts that uses leading edge technologies for online language learning. 

The EnglishCentral platform combines the web's best English videos, proprietary IntelliSpeech[TM] assessment technology, an adaptive vocabulary learning system and live tutors, delivered seamlessly over web and mobile.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive support to the Regional Manager in Ankara Office, as well as assist other senior staff based in the same office
  • Arrange domestic and international travel itinerary and hotel bookings
  • Organize external meetings with partners, government departments, universities and trade bodies in Turkey
  • Manage weekly/monthly reporting
  • Prepare materials for meetings and provide post-meeting follow-up notes
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and narrative documentation
  • Maintain an effective computer based filing system and manual filing systems where appropriate
  • Organize small-scale team events and larger scale department/ company-wide events as required
  • Support PR communication
  • Take proactive steps to ensure that best practice and coordination is seamless across all interfaces
  • Be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the team’s administration
  • Make timely decisions using independent judgment on a regular basis
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Work with relevant personnel on engagement/practice finance matters
  • Interact with broader EnglishCentral team located in 7 different offices around the globe

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as an Executive Assistant/ Personal Assistant or other secretarial/administrative experience involving the support of staff at senior management or director level
  • Excellent command of Turkish speaking and writing
  • Excellent command of English speaking and writing
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to dive deep into data and present information in a coherent, articulate manner
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Extensive experience of calendar management and arranging international travel and conference calls

3 - 10 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate)
