QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- University degree (preferably in engineering – mechanical, electrical and/or electrical, industrial, civil, energy)
- MSc or MBA in the field of Energy Studies (wind, solar and renewables preferable)
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Strong experience about wind and other renewables in Turkish electricity market o Minimum 5-10 years of experience in energy sector as a wind project engineer including experience in some of these fields (i.e. project development, execution, operation in wind projects/power plants; as well as other forms of renewables especially in solar)
o Technical know-how about wind and solar power generation technologies (especially wind)
o Technical know-how about wind and solar energy power plants design calculations/studies
o Strong track record in the development and preferably execution of wind projects
o Regulatory know-how and experience about Turkish Electricity Market with strong experience about the related regulation
- Business minded and analytical thinking
- Proactive and goal oriented, able to work within teams
- Advanced excel and power point knowledge
- Moderate understanding of financial modeling
- Strong negotiation & communication skills

Job Description:
- Supporting overall renewable business development activities (especially wind & solar)
- Supporting renewable due-diligence studies
- Supporting greenfield renewable project development activities (especially wind & solar) including;
o Wind & Solar projects Site selection
o Electrical and civil infrastructural design studies/calculations
o Leading all engineering related activities
o Supporting Budget and cost studies of renewable projects
- Managing communication with internal customers and external stakeholders (consultants, subcontractors, relevant state institutions etc.)
- Market research and relevant reporting
- Valuation support and preparation of the financial model inputs
- Supporting strategic planning processes
