Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and release I&C maintenance procedures for the power plant equipment,
• Define the schedule for maintenance of equipment,
• Lead and carry out I&C maintenance activities,
• Work closely with relevant teams for procurement of spare parts, equipment & LTSA,
• Onsite service and fault finding and administration of DCS systems to ensure required performance and availability,
• Ensuring success in terms of economic results and customer satisfaction,
• Work with the Maintenance Manager and Planners to actively develop and take ownership for short- and long-range planning and execution of crucial programs, shutdowns, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Lead or participate in plant Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes to ensure corrective actions are appropriate and timely.
• Write project scope and material specifications.
• Provide budgetary support for assigned projects.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronic & Control Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years work experience working in the power generation control systems industry or large scale continuous operation industrial control applications,
• Knowledge of steam / gas turbines applications is a must,
• Experience in Siemens S7 200/300/400/1500 PLC, DCS and HMI systems and process automation is a must,
• Good knowledge on instrumentation and basic knowledge electrical systems is a must,
• Experience with Siemens T3000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and/or large scale DCS’s will be highly regarded,
• A working knowledge of cyber security,
• Analysis of control logic, detection of malfunction and elaboration of mitigation measures,
• Executing simulations in compliance with established procedures,
• Calibrations and equipment function check ,
• Support the efforts to reduce maintenance costs by efficient use of consumables, parts and tools,
• Periodically taking image backups of SCADA computers, taking PLC backups and transferring them to the NAS system,
• Ensuring that system documentation remains up to date,
• Strong computer skills to include spreadsheets, databases, word- processing and project software,
• Solid understanding with CMMS maintenance tools (SAP/ Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.),
• Execute different projects related to I&C,
• Excellent command of English,
• Excellent communicator,
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player,
• Result-oriented coupled with strong analytical skills,
• Safety oriented: Keeps safety in mind always – looks out for the safety of teammates and self,
• Ability to understand complex contractual issues as they relate to plant Operations and Maintenance,
• Ability to productively work independently and as an integral plant staff team member,
• Capable of working independently with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a short time frame.
• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Ability to respond calmly and think clearly in emergency situations,
• Will be able to reside in Bandırma.
