Research & Development Project Specialist

We are looking for a “Research and Development Project Specialist” who will be included in our success story for a growing team of Elastron Thermoplastic Elastomers based on domestic and overseas locations.

Elastron Thermoplastic Elastomers was established in 1980 with initial production SBS based Thermoplastic Elastomer compounds and significant technical developments resulted in adding SEBS and EPDM/PP based thermoplastic elastomers to the product range. Elastron is a global thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) producing company located in Turkey and has offices in North America, China, Germany and exports to over 50 countries.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, conducting and coordinating customer based projects according to specifications or customer requirements,
• Making the project plan by conducting literature studies within the scope of new product development,
• Following up product development projects,
• Performing necessary studies for the continuation of ISO 17025 Laboratory Accreditation.

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry (Organic or Polymer Chemistry)
• Preferably having working experience in plastic sector,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Project engineering and /or management experience is an asset,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented and fast in action but with detailed planning,
• Customer oriented problem solver who can identify to root causes and recommend corrective actions,
• Great aptitude for continues learning and self-development,
• Team worker and strong communication skills,
• Residing or to be residing Kocaeli or İstanbul (Asia),
• No military obligation for male candidates.
