ETI has been established in 2012 and has been awarded for the Operation and Maintenance of a big tunnel operation in İstanbul.

      JOB

• Manage Tunnel Traffic and Safety operations, permitting safe flow of traffic according to high standard operating procedures on a 24-hour basis.

• Ensure high level of road services are delivered to the motorists including information delivery to maximize the traffic flow and minimize the traffic disruptions.

• Manage the Operation team to ensure the detection of any incident and intervention.

• Provide a rapid and efficient response to disruptions affecting the traffic flow and motorist safety.

• Manage the Subcontractors within all the facilities of the Tunnel.

• Manage the traffic to support for incident interventions as well as for any planned/unplanned maintenance works.

• Analyse incidents and prepare reports.

• Review agreements and contractual arrangements with relevant parties to enable ETI to perform its obligations and to deliver the best operation services.

• Manage work permit process with related departments.

• Oversee the review, update and implementation of traffic management plans, procedures, protocols and manuals to ensure compliance with all.

• Support recruitment of department staff and ensure all due trainings are delivered and due certifications are obtained, and operational compliance is achieved.

• Prepare all necessary weekly, monthly and annual reports.

• Comply with the relevant procedures, directives and other legal requirements of all certified management systems.

• Comply with HSE rules and procedures with a strong Safety-First approach.

• Exhibit strong ownership over Code of Ethics, Integrity and HR policies of the Company and fulfil the responsibilities of the position in accordance with all those core values of policies.

     INDIVIDUAL

• Must be a strong leader who is self-aware, self-motivated, committed to lead with high level of sobriety and dignity in the first place.

• Must have a university degree from a reputable university either from engineering or administrative sciences.

• Must have a min of 20 years of working experience preferably with a similar operation management experience with 24/7 service delivery with shift teams.

• Must have strong skills in communicating with and managing people at various organizational levels and with a cultural spread with mature attitude.

• Must have an international corporate background to easily understand and implement the corporate compliance policies such as Code of Ethics, Integrity and Environmental, Health and Safety policies.

• Must be flexible to lead a 24/7 operation scheme being available personally and must reside within a reasonable periphery of the ETİ premises in Üsküdar.

• Must be fluent in verbal and written English.

• Capable of managing teams up to 100 people.

• Must have cost center management experience with solid fulfillment responsibility.

• Must have basic understanding of and be experienced in labor law, shift working schemes, recruitment, interviews.

• Preferably should have some technical familiarity to be able understand the operation of the Tunnel Control SCADA System.

• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical technical disciplines would be a plus in understanding and evaluating various issues.
