Position
Due to the inclusion of EDORA into GEZE Group we are in search of an International Finance Manager with a strong controlling background. You are responsible for the implementation and execution of a state of the art finance and controlling scheme that allows to analyze the profitability of all business processes in the company. This includes the reporting of monthly results and related analyses according to the requirements of GEZE Group. A decisive part of the job profile is related to being the key contact and counterpart to the Headquarters of GEZE Group in Germany. This requires strong language and communication skills and a profound knowledge of cross-border business. You report hierarchically to the EDORA Managing Director and functionally to the Group Controller in Germany you maintain contacts with the external auditor, banks, tax and government authorities. To meet your responsibilities you lead and develop a team of staff members as well as external partners. 

General tasks of the International Financial Manager 

• Responsible for financial administration and monitoring the company processes of EDORA 
• Month end closing and the reporting to the MD, commercial management and head office in Germany;
• As a member of the Management team you are involved in forming and implementation of the company policy and processes; within this process you monitor the project implementation of the core team members as well as hands on develop the finance processes in corporation to the Group Controller 
• Key contact for all commercial matters for the headquarters of GEZE, Germany 
• Handling of international Business with GEZE Group companies
• Monitoring and Controlling of sales, production and logistic process; 
• Analyses of product profitability
• Cost control and continuous improvement
• Assess control of investment requests/cost; 
• Review sale results with Executive Board and management; 
• Responsible for annual report / year end close process
• Responsible for budgeting process

Dedicated risk management tasks and targets for the subsidiary’s finance and controlling department and responsibility for the Finance Manager: 

• Accurate and timely accountancy and preparation for the external Auditors
• Regular monitoring to ensure sales profitability per project, product and customer 
• Total involvement in budgeting process
• Providing timely, accurate and correct figures
• Ensuring that all legal obligations are met by the company; especially taxation, including compliance with import / export requirements and declarations. Plus compliance with health & safety and employment law.
• Providing a link with external contacts like tax authorities, banks, auditors, lawyers, supplier, advisors etc.
• Assessment and approval of Company contracts (Purchase, leasing, rent, consultancy etc.) 
• Follow up the company policies are implemented and will be kept; Compliance or 4-eye’s-principle are two highlighted fundamental principle. 

• Minimum Bachelors degree in finance / accounting or controlling
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Experience in controlling and performance measurement in a manufacturing company
• Very good English language in word and writing, German is of advantage; 
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in international business 
• A proactive and independent posture; 
• Able to cope with stress;
• Commercial mind set / entrepreneurial spirit is an advantage. 
• Hands on and target related.
