What You Will Do:

Production Planner is responsible for overall capacity management of the plant, weekly and daily production scheduling and contract manufacturing management. The role actively take part in the S&OP process by providing continuous improvements in capacity and supply planning. The role oversees continuous production process and on time product supply. Production Planner is a key internal resource responsible for development and communication of a production schedule that will maximize and balance production/warehouse capacity while meeting all customer demands.

• Ensures day to day and long-term planning activities including scheduling, inventory planning, production plan performance measurement
• Manage SKU’s and materials phase-in phase-out in coordination with QA and Supply planning teams.
• Support NPI process, localization projects and product transitions
• Coordinate capacity balancing and production activities with purchasing, warehousing, sales, inventory, Quality Control, and customer service
• Schedule day to day plant production and provide timely and accurate production requirements via work orders to Plant team, organize day to day overtime requests in case of need
• Analyze long term capacity needs of Plant, collaborate and coordinate with Plant Manager for any tight-capacity cases
• Manage tollers’ or co-packers’ activities, if plant capacity is not enough to fulfill demanded quantities
• Manage Master Production Schedule, measure adherence
• Participate in status meetings with supply planners, procurement and suppliers
• Maintain Plant ERP masterdata
• Improve planning systems, infrastructure, tools and methods
• Monitor SC KPI’s, lead gap analysis and action planning with proper PDCA

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and relative engineering studies
• Preferably 2+ years of direct hands on experience in Production Planning
• Competency in an ERP system as user, strong MS Office skills (especially Excel & P.Point).
• English proficiency is a must.
