PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the GSA Finance Manager, this GSA Finance Analyst joins a group of finance professionals supporting the Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) commercial team. As part of the team, the Finance Analyst will share responsibility for the overall reporting process and, next to that, focus on a sub-set of customers to support new tender business, deal renewals, budget/forecast and drive for insights on current customer profitability. The Finance Analyst will have to collaborate and align with global, regional and local Diversey colleagues around the world as Diversey operates in 60+ countries. Therefore the individual should have strong collaboration and communication skills, including proficiency in the English language.

This specific GSA Finance Analyst role will be based in Turkey, reporting to the functional line manager is based in the Netherlands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in an accounting or finance discipline, Master's a plus
• 2-4 years relevant finance experience, preferably working in multi-national or multi-location business
• Experience with customer account teams or supporting sales is a plus
• Strong self-starter, proactive rather than reactive; always looking to make improvements to processes and reporting
• Ambitious, keen to learn and drive for personal development
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Collaborative team player
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Able to analyze large data sets, identify data quality issues and take action items to resolve such issues
• Excellent MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) use required
• Knowledge of SAP (ERP and/or BW), Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Smart View is an advantage but not essential

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to the global center of excellence on financial modeling of customer relationships:

• Contribute to the Global account tender projects & new RFPs
• Track and report out on the current customer base financial performance
• Responsible from reporting and improving reporting processes
• Analyze the P&L of the customer offers with sales team
• Assess the service model impact of the customer based on Service Level Agreements
• Calculate and review rebate accrual levels and payouts
• Support the annual price increase process
• Monitor spend of marketing/promotional allowances
• Contract compliance monitoring
• Utilize and improve best practices w/r to financial scenario analysis
