Production Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Materials Engineering or similar/other relevant education
• Master degree would be considered as an advantage
• Welding experience or Welding Engineer certificate would be an asset
• Minimum 3 years experience in required qualifications
• Preferably experienced in the Automotive industry, IATF 16949 and core tools experience – SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP would be considered as an advantage
• Able to prepare weld maps and follow up on the production area
• Good Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Min Intermediate level of English
• Highly motivated, strong team player, good communication skills with analytical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
• Completed military service for male candidates
• Can reside in Çorlu, Çerkezköy or Saray

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To identify and optimize welding parameters in manual and robotic welding processes during the commissioning of new products
• Establishing welding parameter standards of existing products
• To play an active role in the design and commissioning of mechanical designs suitable for product geometry
• To ensure that welding related tasks are carried out according to standards and customer specifications
• Identify training needs related to welding and provide necessary support
• Preparing project welding procedures and required documents
• Coordinating the EN3834-2 Applications
• Maintaining welded manufacturing applications in accordance with customer specifications and international ASME and EN standards
• Meeting customer demands for control, testing and documentation,
• To take an active role in the solution of quality complaints (to find root cause, 5M analysis and to take permanent measures, etc.)
