Group Productivity Manager

Dinex is growing and we continuously need to improve our productivity to become the preferred supplier to our existing and new customers. We are looking for a Group Productivity Manager able to push boundaries and drive solutions for the future in our OEM business. You will be working in a truly multicultural environment with highly, qualified colleagues from all over the world. As Group Productivity Manager, you will be assigned to a specific project in a Dinex factory for up to 3 - 6 months. You will be leading the activities on-site potentially covering the entire value chain to achieve strong contribution margin improvements. You will provide support and coaching for leaders and systematically spread best practice using Lean and the Six Sigma approach along with other quality/improvement tools.

We operate wherever our companies, partners and customers are, and therefore it is important that you have the flexibility and willingness to travel more than 50% and to work in all of our factories globally.

Background

To be considered for this position, you have a Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent combined with extensive plant and operational managerial experience from a production/manufacturing setting as well as hands-on experience in implementing change projects. It is essential that you have a commitment to diversity of thought, inclusion and a global/international mindset and experience. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to navigate a large and complex corporate organization whilst maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, we expect that you have :

Five plus years work experience within Manufacturing

Demonstrated hands on experience with implementation of Lean Manufacturing

Experience from the automotive industry will be an advantage

Good oral and written communication skills in English is a minimum requirement

High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

High level knowledge with computers, especially Microsoft office

Job Description

• You understand and live the concepts of Lean Manufacturing

• Implement a data driven performance culture made visual on shop floor (every single employee knows exactly what is expected of him/her and if he/she is on track or not)

• Develop and implement Dinex boards and a follow up structure from shop floor to management level

• Create long term activity roadmaps and drive both Kaizen and step change projects

• Educate shop floor employees and all management levels in the concepts of Lean Manufacturing

• Value Stream Mapping - Using data measured from the shop floor, plan a future state and generate an action item list that will deliver results, eliminating waste in the system

• 5S/Workplace Organization - Reduce waste and cost by implementing visual controls to organize the workplace, sending clear/simple signals to employees, reducing inventory, and increasing work flow, quality and safety

• Total Preventive Maintenance - Implement the system to maintain machines and equipment at peak productivity. The system should increase equipment effectiveness and avoid production interruptions

• Time and scrap reporting by each value stream and work with Area Managers to provide activity plans for improvement

• Perform other tasks as assigned
