Sort Control Manager

Job Description:

* Manage the timely processing of material to ensure cut of times for inbound/outbound processes are met

* Ensure all staff comply with Global SOP

* Coordinating recovery between Operations and IT Managers following automated system breakdown

* All employees engaged in activity on behalf of DHL Express TR are to comply with all applicable security procedures

* Setting team KPI’s for the Sort Control team and individual KPI’s for team members during monthly 1-2-1 and daily Performance Dialogues

* Providing regular motivational and development feedback to Sort Control Team

Qualifications:

* University degree prefebly Computer Engineering, MIS, Electrical and Electronics Engineering

* Excellent command of English; both in written and verbal

* Minimum 3 years managerial exprerience

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to provide clear direction & enforce quality standards or deadlines to deliver high performance

* Good at establishing working relationships and developing personal contacts

* Strong personal influencing and consultative skills

* Shaping direction skills with strategic and provident thinking

* Good analytical and commercial awareness

* Self motivated with good judgment and decision making qualities

* Ensure clear performance standards, staffing levels, coaching and training

* Leading Sort Control recruitment process, ensuring department is correctly resourced at all times

* Demonstrate and live Respect and Results behaviours
