QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
DENZAY is an Architecture and Engineering Company working for international superstructure and infrastructure projects.
Denzay is looking for a creative and highly talented, 1 dynamic team partner as ARCHITECT / URBAN PLANING ENGINEER (Mimar veya Şehir Bölge Planlama Mühendisi), for their design projects in Afghanistan, with the qualifications and responsibilities listed below;
Qualifications;
- Bs / Ba degrees in Architecture / Urban Planning Engineer (Only 1 of them will be chosen)
- Relevant work experience of at least 2 years as Architect / Urban Planning Engineer is a must
- Relevant work experience in a multi-discipline design is a must
- Excellent writing, Grammar and Spelling ability in English language is a must
- Willing to travel and work in Kabul, Afghanistan.
- Able to use Auto-CAD and other relevant design programs is a must
- A registered Professional Architect / Engineer is an asset
- Holding a valid NATO/National Security Clearance is an asset.
- Having worked as an Architect / Urban Planning Engineer (discipline specific) for at least two major infrastructure/construction projects with min value 500,000 EUR is an asset.
- Having worked in an austere and or operational environment is an asset
- Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
- Good awareness of product limitations.
- Aware of Quality and Environmental Systems and the ability to work to the expected requirements of these systems.
- Highly responsive to client requirements.
- Including on-time responses, and incorporating changes when requested.
- Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership and project management skills.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in Architectural and Urban Planning design projects,
- Coordination of other design disciplines like structural, civil electrical, mechanical etc.;
- Coordination of subcontractor companies;
- Representing the company in international meetings;
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects;
- Project Site Visit.
- The Architect / Urban Planning Engineer shall support the Project Manager with design, supervision and coordination tasks.
