QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

loveturkey is a travel agency and service provider specialising in travel to Turkey. We are an inclusive and diverse organisation, incorporating a number of services and sectors within the travel industry. We are focused on creating innovative solutions, increasing the value of services offered to both clients and customers. 

For our operations in Antalya and Fethiye, loveturkey, we need a Quality Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the Companies Quality Systems Policies and Procedures. He/She will be ensuring that each department has appropriate systems in place to assure compliance with all expectations and provide assistance when necessary to develop such programs.Responsibilities include:

 

Job Description

  • Building strong quality systems for determining the appropriate infrastructure and resources required to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensuring internal processes and metrics are aligned to create highest service quality and competitive advantage.
  • Acting as management representative for ISO requirements. Coordinating and maintaining a quality system in compliance with ISO.
  • Reviewing changes in activities for impact on the quality system in cooperation with the process owner.
  • Reviewing quality system documentation for legal and ethical compliance, consistency and suitability to Health Quality Standards (SKS).
  • Initiating quality system changes according to the change control procedure and monitoring follow up.
  • Giving advice pro-actively as well as when asked to process and document owners.
  • Planning and monitoring quality document changes and if applicable supporting the document owner in writing the document.
  • Planning training about the quality management system and good practices to new staff.
  • Identifying the need for quality awareness training, procedure training and other quality system related training and organizing that training in cooperation with the process owner/manager and the Human Resources Department.
  • Supporting colleagues in processing quality issues.
  • Conforming the quality management procedures and monitoring follow up.
  • Reviewing quality system regulations and informing management and process owners about problems, trends and possibilities for improvement.
  • Informing staff members on quality issues that are relevant for their role or activities.
  • Participating in the internal and Health Ministry audits. Recording, developing and implementing outcomes of these audits.
  • Performing QA tasks when needed and as agreed with quality leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Quality System experience in a health service environment
  • Understanding of health requirements and government regulations.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to participate in initiatives according to business needs and strategy.
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability building and sustaining relationships at all levels required, promoting a high-performance organisation.
  • Ability to develop, interpret and apply statistical and focus improvement tools for process improvements
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and activities to ensure on timely completion
  • Ability to recognise problem, analyse and develop solutions using a logical thought process.
  • Ability to work through complex and ambiguous problems which are time sensitive and multi-disciplinary.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues with strong influencing, diplomacy, and partnering skills in order to grow business relationships and guide business partners to the best solutions.
  • Ability to focus on detail to lead result-oriented solutions for best client solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both English and Turkish speaking and writing.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to support the needs of a multi shift operation.
  • Experience working with a High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and/or Self Directed Work Team environment.
