QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Danone Waters Turkey is looking for a Retail Sales Manager who will work with a strong desire to manage Retail Sales Channel for all Turkey regions, mainly organized in 5 different DC’s. This is a great opportunity to deal with variety of customers with sales representatives, being a people manager, customer manager and business manager in total.

About the job

You will report to Sales Director, and are responsible of 6 direct sales field team as hiring and training them.

• Lead a team of 6 direct sales field team and +50 sales representatives located in 5 different regions

• Plan, lead and deliver regional sales and profit targets

• Ensure the KPI objectives are met (visit success, invoice success, dropsize per outlet, number of SKU’s per outlet, etc.) and daily route discipline is delivered

• Expand region’s customer universe base with regard to active customer numbers

• Build strong relationships with key customers

• Close contact with RTM team to grow vertically and horizontally

• Execute sales plans given by PRGM and trade marketing team

• Monitor all end-to-end RTM pillars, guide operations team if necessary

• Recruit, build and nurture the best team


About you

To be able to be successful in the role, you need to have:


• Min 7-8 years overall experience in Sales/Retail Sales in FMCG, having managed teams is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English

• Strong analytical skills and ambition to work with big data and numbers

• Ability to work in multiple priority environment

• Strong cross-functional management skills

• Great influencing and negotiation skills

• Good command of Microsoft Excel

• High passion to work in the field, at different locations
