QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We as D Maris Bay; feel responsible and committed to create a working environment that is challenging, satisfying and fun, so we can retain and motivate excellent people during their long term careers with D Maris Bay.

· Previous experience in a guest contact field at least two years,
· Ability to work and communicate effectively with people of all cultures,
· Excellent communication skills,
· Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, other languages (Russian) will be an advantage,
· Should be aware of windows, MS office & Triton and Opera programs.

İŞ TANIMI

Our ideal Hostess will be responsible for:
· Opening procedure, ensuring that the table top set up (flowers, candles, lamps and tent cards) is set according to the restaurant requirements.
· Ensuring that all table top items are clean and in good repair.
· Arranging restaurant seating plan in line with reservation book and Restaurant Manager requirements.
· Cleaning chair/sofa cushions.
· Setting-up hostess desk according to the standards of D Maris Bay.
· Greeting the guest in a friendly and courteous manner according to the standards of D Maris Bay.
· Seating the guest according to the standards of D Maris Bay.
· Assisting with service as required by the Restaurant Manager.
· Handling all telephone bookings and enquiries in accordance to the standards of D Maris Bay.
· Ensuring that the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager are kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
· During closing procedure ensure that all table top items are collected and cleaned as per the standards set by D Maris Bay.
· Ensuring that all menus, drinks lists and guest collateral items are kept clean and undamaged according to the standards set by D Maris Bay.
· Assisting Restaurant Manager in maintaining all guest history records.
· Keeping uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene is in line with standards set by D Maris Bay.
