Job Description:

• Lead the production planning and scheduling processes for fiber optic cable manufacturing operations.
• Lead the production planning and scheduling processes for fiber optic cable manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Ensure Material Availability   required for production continuity via active planning, collaboration with GSM (Global Sourcing Management)
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimize resource utilization.
• Identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall operational performance.
• Supervise a team of planners and coordinators, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Generate regular reports on production metrics and performance indicators for management review.
• Project Support (Internal & External)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the telecommunications or optical industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced planning tools, SAP experience is preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Leadership experience with a proven track record of coaching and developing teams.
