EHS Engineer (Temporary-1 Year Contract)

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
• Min 5 years of job experience as an EHS Engineer.
• Good knowledge on health and safety and environmental legislations and requirements.
• At least C Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate.
• Competent on risk assessment methodologies and legal regulations.
• Risk Management, Incident Investigation and Safety Management System skills.
• Fluent in English
• Problem solving, result orientation and good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• No military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIBTION

EHS Engineer will report to EHS Manager and will be responsible for;

Advice, guide and support Corning Safety Management System in the implementation of Health & Safety practices both on site and within the office environment. Ensure training programs are developed, modified and implemented as required,

• Planning and controlling the Environment, Health and Safety issues in the plant
• Coordinating the Corning SMS, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Quality Management Systems procedures
• Responsible for providing programs and guidance on EHS training needs of employees and management on a regulatory basis
• Delivering all the global & local EHS relevant reports
