The Main Goal of This Position:

Our Social and Sustainability department is well versed in helping clients ensure their quality, environmental, health and safety or food safety management systems and social responsiblity  are robust and effective.

Agriculture focused Auditor will conduct audits at assigned client locations and determine conformance to established standard/scheme.  You will be responsible for the application of Good Agriculture Practices (ITU)/Global G.A.P. requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of agriculture industry. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report.

Qualifications: 

• Graduate in Agriculture Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in the agriculture sector.
• HACCP and Good Agricultural Practices training 
• Qualified as an inspector/ auditor in the scope of Good Agriculture Practices (ITU) and/or Global G.A.P. 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good command of English; in speech and in writing is must  
• Must have a valid driver license
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

What We Expect From You?

• Conduct audits/ inspections in good agriculture practices/ food safety / social  audits and summarize audit findings.
• Interpret audit guidelines and score audits
• Communicate findings/results of audits with client site management or representative
• Develop work plans and complete assigned audits within determined timeframe.
• Monitor industry trends and identify client needs, and champion these within the organization.
• Deliver presentations to growers, shippers, distributors, buyers, trade associations, regulatory agencies, and product user groups, as requested.
• Participation in meetings and training abroad 
• Frequent overnight travel.
• To stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to travel by car or plane.
• Extensive use of computers and other electronic equipment.
• Moderate physical effort required 
• Ability to follow client and regulatory required safety practices.
• Majority of work is performed in farming, food packing/handling environment or other non-office setting.
