QUALIFICATIONS

Global Investment Holding Power Division is a leading energy investor concentrated on environment friendly and renewable energy production and mining sectors. We are currently looking for a “Senior Financial Controller” to join our team, who will be involved in financial and operational controlling, planning and projections.

We need someone who can jump in and get things done in a fast-moving environment.

• University degree from a reputable university preferably in Economics, Business Administration or relevant departments,
• At least 2 years of controlling experience in manufacturing company following at least 3 years of audit, experience, preferably from “Big 4”,
• Deep knowledge in cost accounting and production control processes,
• Excellent understanding of Turkish GAAP and IFRS,
• Good command of English both written and spoken,
• High proficiency with MS Office App, especially Excel and hands-on experience,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Strong analytical skills with a very careful attention to detail in every step of operation and analysis,
• Team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Ability and willingness to self-explore and learn,
• Have no travel restrictions and willing to travel (at most 3 days in a month outside of İstanbul).

• Constantly monitoring and improving the quality of management information (KPI's, data reliability),
  
• Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly management reports,
• Completion of monthly management reporting packs,
• Coordinating Corporate Controlling requirements with all relevant stakeholders,
• Designing standard templates to control and monitor overall operational activities to support the management team for decision making,
• Supporting preparation of comprehensive budget documentation and forecasts,
• In charge with cost and result tracking of support functions,
• Maintaining data quality by challenging accuracy of data provided,
• Handle the month-end close processes,
• Preparing monthly IFRS and quarterly SPK reports to the stakeholders,
• Coordinating and managing audit activities with the independent auditors,
• Involve in cash flow projection and reporting process,
• Creating financial models for assessing the impact of investment plans and cost projects by analyzing all financial, commercial, macroeconomic and strategic aspects involved,
• Support the leadership team with regular financial reporting and metrics, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis as needed,
• Reporting to Group Budget and Reporting Manager.
