Our services allow businesses to process payments, collect and make payments, manage their FX liquidity and issue debit cards.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

You will contribute to the OpenPayd vision of building the global modular platform that services the underserved businesses within financial technology space. You will work both on the existing platforms  as well as contribute to the further development of our core product. Beyond this you will: conduct research and technology exploration as required to address any present or future projects, follow established development/testing procedures in order to achieve consistent software quality, develops the requested software features in a timely fashion, creates and maintains documentation and makes use of standard tooling such as source-control (git), defect-tracking (jira).

Your skills and experiences we're looking for:

Excellent working knowledge of recent Java versions

Experience with Java enterprise technologies: Spring Framework (core, MVC, data, integration, boot, cloud) and Hibernate ORM

Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and NoSQL systems (MongoDB preferred)

Proficient with Linux or Mac use

Experience with build automation tools (such a Gradle/Maven), source control tools, and bug tracking software

Ideally you  are also familiar with Front-end technologies -preferably Angular7

Possess a University degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
