Main Responsibilities


  • Analyzes, designs, and develops a roadmap and implementation plan based on a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Participates in enterprise strategy development, including opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
  • Work closely with the Functional Architect teams as well as project management teams to understand and include their diverse requirements within the overall SAP eco-system including sizing, availability, scalability and performance.
  • Leads and coordinates the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
  • Supports, develops, and communicates domain-wide policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Spearhead standardization, cloud automation and overall platform delivery roadmap and prioritization within the SAP Landscape.
  • Leads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities, provides recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment.
  • Identifies the tools and components used within the domain based on the enterprise toolset and can define exceptions as warranted.
  • Work closely with Security, Compliance and governance teams to ensure that all technical platform delivery is aligned with all requirements.
  • Recommends allocation of budget to meet architectural initiatives critical to business/mission success.
  • Develops the business case for approval.
  • Meets with project management and software development leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others.
  • Define the skills, competencies in the skills and talents for architecture team members.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced level of English
  • Proven skills in developing new technology initiatives, requirements and longterm plans and processes
  • Directing others, building effective teams, functional/technical skills, creativity, innovation management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated written communications skills experience in developing written plans and business cases
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Demonstrate customer service focus in communications, decision making and actions
  • Demonstrate the ability to create, communicate and gain acceptance of IT goals and activities to senior level executives
  • Ability to multitask and work on several activities or issues at the same time
  • Ability to design and implement technical policies and procedures
  • Identifies and focuses on customer needs
  • Delegates work to others to expand the areas he/she is able to impact
  • Holds entire team accountable for contributing to successful outcomes
  • Builds relationships (internal and/or external) that result in plans/solutions for the business
