QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an 'HR Manager' to be based in Gemlik-Bursa.

 

  • University graduate.
  • Minimum 7 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience.
  • Proven records of multiple human resource disciplines including recruitment, compensation practices, employee and union relations, performance management, training and development, career and succession planning and employment law.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and business literacy skills.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving attitude.
  • Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.
  • Proactively take initiative to identify and anticipate business needs and make recommendations for implementation.

  • The position will be based in Gemlik /Bursa


Reporting to HR Director and General Manager, HR Manager will support business functions at the company to establish and implement HR strategies that foster the organization and people development of the unit.


Responsibilities:

 Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for blue and white collar roles (placing advertisements online, reviewing and screening CVs, scheduling interviews, conducting competency based interviews and reference checks etc.)
  • Develop recruitment strategy that aids in filling vacancies efficiently and with the best candidate via utilizing different mediums to recruit. i.e. Social media, industry networking, and cooperation with the universities etc.
  • Develop on-boarding process for blue and white collar employees and execute orientation programs for new employees

Organizational Development

  • Work with all departments to execute the Performance Management program for all employees
  • Work with all department managers to identify succession needs and to develop action plans to address those needs
  • Assist with identifying competency and skills based training needs of the employees
  • Organize the training and development programs in-cooperation with line managers and service providers
  • Collaborate with Technical Training Department and assist the process for professional proficiency and technical training

Employee Relations & Employee Engagement

  • Develop and maintain a positive employee relation environment and conduct customer oriented approach at all levels
  • Execute disciplinary process for blue and white collar employees
  • Generate creative ideas in organizing social and employee engagement activities for employees and support stronger internal communication within the organization  

Employer Branding  

  • Embrace a targeted approach and collaborate with the vocational schools and universities to promote employer branding and to acquire young talents for the organization (participating in the career days, sector days, sponsoring target events, organizing sites visits in the terminals)
  • Assist in the execution of the project oriented internship program in a timely manner (including cooperation with the universities and vocational schools etc.)

Compensation & Benefits / HR Operations

  • Provide support for the C&B processes such as expatriate management, workload analysis, norm staff analysis, etc.
  • Prepare and keep track of headcount plan and budget and work in cooperation with the department managers
  • Take an active role in the SAP implementation project 

HR Performance

  • Provide and prepare support in the preparation of monthly/quarterly HR related reports and presentations
  • Take an active role as a gatekeeper in the development and execution of HR processes and programs
  • Take an active role in conducting research of the strategic HR and new trends/programs that can be applicable for the organization
  • Closely track HR metrics and inform related parties regularly
