About the position

• Oversees and directs project management for certain IT projects in the hotel sector, i.e.

Ø  Migration and integration of IT infrastructure and related applications (PMS/POS/Infotainment) of new and existing hotels

• Leads an international team

• Negotiates and manages hotel related IT service provider contracts (PMS/POS, Infotainment systems and others)

• Maintains budgets

• Monitors project performance by system based forecasts against the approved budget, project schedules and established quality control standards

• Monitors external service providers

About the candidate

• Main fields of study: IT (degree or diploma required))

• Comprehensive professional experience in all specific IT issues of the hotel business

• Excellent knowledge and comprehensive professional experience in planning and operation of property management systems and other applications in the hotel environment:

  SIHOT, Micros POS, Opera and Materials Control, CRS Systems and Interfaces

• Sound knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows 7/10/2008/2012/2016

• Practical know-how in the management of high-availability IT applications and IT infrastructures

• Good knowledge of network technologies and services: TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP

• Leadership experience

• Experience in budget responsibility, controlling and finance

• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken; Spanish and Turkish is a plus

• Team player

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service skills
