Software Development Assistant Manager

We are looking for a "Software Development Assistant Manager" with the following qualifications to be a part of the Çelebi Havacılık Holding IT Department.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar departments)

•Having at least 8 years of experience

•Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate

•Preferably with React.js and Kafka experience

•Knowledgeable in SDLC, OOP, Design Patterns and SOP architecture

•Knowledge of Oracle DB and good SQL knowledge

•Willing to adapt to new technologies and open to development

•Prone to teamwork

•Advanced level of English (both writing & speaking)

•Good presentation and communication skills with good analytical skills

Job Description:

•Analyze department needs, identify opportunities to boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy 

•Continuously analyses current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement 

•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations

•Strong understanding of core Java concepts such as object-oriented programming, data structures & algorithms

•Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

•Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

•Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

•Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

•Participating in the design and creation of scalable software

•Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analysing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs 

•Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups

•Ensure Information Security Policies of the organization are adhered to and not violated

•Participate in the budgeting exercise and keep track of expenditures and raising required purchase requests on the system
