QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Carglass® is a brand of Belron®, world's largest dedicated vehicle glass repair,replacement and recalibration company.
Operating over 35 countries and 5 continents, Belron® is home to more than 28,000 people worldwide.

For our growing organization in Istanbul, Turkey, we are looking for a ' Sales and Marketing Head' as part of the Sales and Marketing Department. The incumbent will be directly reporting to General Manager in Turkey.

Carglass® aims to be the Natural Choice for automotive glass repair, replacement and recalibration services for every motorist in Turkey. The overall purpose of the role is to lead the growth, retention and maximisation of gross margin revenue from customers through tactical sales programmes and targeted, strategic account management across a variety of channels.

The incumbent will play a critical part in formulation of the Sales and Marketing strategy for Carglass® which supports and drives the business plan, and in monitoring its effectiveness. This role is key in helping us achieve our vision of being the natural choice and being world famous for customer service. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Responsibilities  - Commercial Area:

  • To always consider the interests of the customer in decision making and performance management so that Carglass can progress to becoming the Natural Choice for automotive glass repair in Turkey REP+RECAB.
  • To shape and refine the Sales strategy identifying USP’s and opportunities for growth in both the B2B and B2C sectors.
  • To lead the development, execution and ongoing review of Carglass pricing strategy consistent with Carglass position on the local market.
  • To implement strategic account management in order to grow and build long term partnerships with key customers, in accordance with TVP (Total Value Partnership).
  • To provide leadership for the Sales team and appropriate coaching and support for continuous development and the achievement of objectives so that a positive team climate is maintained.
  • Customer Negotiation: Commercial policy, trade commercial rules, internal objectives definition, negotiation levels, customer and competitors agreements, trade terms and customers profitability.
  • Engaging and ambitious in store culture ensuring the team are involved, valued and recognized for their contribution and are regularly invited to share feedback to improve Branch performance.
  • Being responsible from controlling cost and overall profitability, budgeting & forecasting and managing of sales & marketing division and other management processes.
  • To understand financial and operational data and reporting to monitor progress towards unit goals to meet those objectives.

Communications:

Directly responsible for:

  • Marketing budget.
  • Carglass Turkey’s trade marketing/brand activity, external and internal communications.
  • Co-ordinating advertising, agencies, media and communication.
  • Measurement and research.
  • Pricing, key account presentations, leaflets and PR programs.

 

Trade Marketing:

  • Key contact with Operations Manager to ensure Branches/Technicians are empowered with marketing materials that reinforce brand position, and that all understand how their role is integral to delivery of the brand proposition.
  • Customer (Key Account) Profiling - strategy, economic performances, organization and decision making process, profitability, competitors agreements etc..
  • To work with the Operations Manager to ensure marketing promises are delivered.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Sales or marketing executive with at least 7-8 years of experience,
  • Can demonstrate success at converting corporate strategy into action and improving performance,
  • Experience from B2B and B2C,
  • Key Account Management,
  • Excellent presentation skills (both in building a presentation and delivering it)
  • Experience and knowledge about MRP-ERP & KPI management,
  • Proficient in IT applications and MS Office,
  • Interpersonal and partnership building skills,
  • Strong analytical skills; analytic mind with strong reporting and planning skills,
  • Availability for travel domestically and internationally,
