QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


Calzedonia, founded in 1986, in Italy, which is one of the largest international companies in retail sector (hosiery,swimwear and underwear ), continues to open stores in Turkey.


  • University degree from related departments
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English (Italian is a plus)
  • Innovative and pro-active person with effective communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Target oriented and proactive with a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to work within flexible working hours if required
  • No travel restrictions
  • Driver's license is a must
  • No military service obligation for male candidates


Job Description

  • Finding possible locations according to expansion strategy/target list,
  • Making/monitoring street/mall plans and making rent analysis for the commercial streets and the shopping malls,
  • Setting up objectives and targets and monitor regularly to ensure if all objectives are achieved,
  • Market research on local retail market industry in order to set up a sustainable expansion strategy,
  • Identification of the best locations for future openings in terms of economic data, traffic, population and relevance for retail activities,
  • Footfall analyses of the shopping malls and the shops of the brand; fine tuning of the data,
  • Negotiating conditions for new lease contracts/rent reductions and prolongations, closings, modifications for existing contracts with investors/landlords/management of the shopping centers,
  • Building up a strong network with the leasing managers of the shopping centers, real estate agencies and landlords,
  • Developing and maintain a long term beneficial relationship with all existing retail groups,
  • Professionalised for the development and pre-opening phase of new stores individually,
  • Cooperation with commercial, legal, technical departments for the new openings/relocations/remakes/ closures, project timeline and scheduling,
  • Profit & Loss analyses with the evaluation of the profit,
  • Providing periodical reports to the local and Italian management,
  • MIS analysis on a regular basis with the local management,
  • Following up and controlling to have the leasing contracts to be signed fully and on time according the legal legislation with the benefits of the company.
