We are searching for an experienced an Installation Manager to support the New Equipment West subregion, based in Istanbul. 

Job Responsibilities:

• The Field Installation Manager will provide technical direction for field installers and Superintendents and has active control of and responsibility for the quality of all new equipment and modernization projects in Istanbul, Europe Side.
• Responsible for establishing installation metrics and ensuring projects are completed timely, within estimate and while maintaining Otis Safety and Quality standards
• Reports on and presents recommendations on product design or performance requirements that continue to drive installation efficiency
• Work closely with Sales and Project management team(s) to establish estimating guidelines (labor / field purchases), conduct pre-bid reviews on all modernization projects, monitor field capacity and schedule management
• Conduct routine backlog reviews to monitor field progress and establish recovery plans when needed
• Provide technical direction to branch installers and adjusters by working with them on job sites and distributing necessary written information to familiarize experienced installers/adjusters with new equipment
• Provide training on all types of equipment
• Have control and responsibility for the quality of all new equip/modernization projects, monitoring first inspection reports and Field Test and Data reports and resolving modernization problems
• Make regular inspections to consult with Construction Superintendents, Constructors, Adjusters and Examiners on problems encountered with product performance.

Experience/Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent in relevant work experience
• Successful candidates will have 8-10 years field experience in troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and/or adjusting elevator and escalator components and systems
• Experience working with field associates
• Working knowledge of Otis and Non-Otis software and experience with current Otis and Non-Otis new sales and vintage Otis and Non-Otis products
• Good analytical/problem solving skills and good communication skills
