QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Having entered the chemical distribution business in 1912, afterwards seeking a worldwide range of expansion meanwhile founded also in Turkey, in 2005; recording significant progress in the development of a continuous business focus with respect of quality and customer satisfaction now looks for an hands-on Account Manager for CASE & Construction  who will be an intricate part of the commercial perception, responsible for developing and delivering value-added sales activities to our company’s daily practice.

Account Manager will be part of a multifunctioning team-mentality. There will be a continuous interface between this individual, his/her supervisor and other members of the sales and product management team who need to be kept informed of pertinent sales activities and issues. This will include cross company initiatives in conjunction with proper marketing, quality, product development and distribution frames. There will also be significant interaction with other key managers in the organization to properly leverage resources in the complex execution of sales programs with high level of travelling and out-of-office working rhythm.


JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIRED BUSINESS ACUMEN


- Developing a growth & margin-oriented strategy focused both on lucrative financial gain and customer satisfaction upon chemical raw material sales in CASE & Construction industry.

- Realizing personal sales targets and maintaining gross-margin based profit flow.

- Promoting new raw materials referring to the customer current projects or proactive approach to develop new business.

- Identify and create new sales and added-value service opportunities with both existing and potential new customers.

- Research of the current market conditions + following the competitor prices and the competitor’s new launches.

- Following the finance status /payment schedule of the customers.

- Finding solutions to customer payment problems.

- Searching new potential customers& decide on price and sales strategies.

- Participate the supplier training meetings and technical seminars, local fairs and participating to the webinars, teleconferences with the suppliers if needed.

- Regularly reporting/meetings with the Technical Sales Manager/Business Manager.

- Delivering accurate sales forecasts on a periodic basis and establishing/managing financials for the business area. 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS


- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, preferably from reputable universities.

- Living in Ankara is a must.

- 3-6 years of trackable experience in sales, account management, planning and implementing sales strategies within CASE & Construction industry.

- Fluency in English and excellent numeric and financial-reinterpretation skill set.

- Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in customer management with excellent communication and process management skills.

- Strong commercial outlook and sales approach to account management.
