About Us

Bozankaya was founded in 1989 in Germany as an R&D company. In 2003, the company expanded to Turkey, where it became a powerful domestic brand, building on its R&D investments of the previous years. Bozankaya started out in Turkey with initially 20 employees, and has now grown to around 1,000 employees, including nearly 100 R&D engineers in its R&D Center.

Bozankaya own the intellectual property rights to the vehicles and technology produced at its facilities in Ankara and is proud to have produced the first fully electric bus in Turkey.

In 2018, Bozankaya expanded further with the new, 100,000m2 production center in the Sincan 1st Organized Industrial Zone on the outskirts of Ankara. This facility, an investment of EUR50m, was specifically designed for the production of rail system vehicles such as metro trains, trams as well as electric commercial vehicles such as the trambus and e-bus.

Bozankaya continue to maintain a strong focus on R&D with29 R&D projects between 2012 and 2017. The total budget for these projects exceeded EUR25m. Our projects create innovative, environmentally friendly and economical solutions for urban public transport.

Bozankaya is proud of its contributions to the development of the railway industry in Turkey. Based on its in-house research, Bozankaya has developed the first %100 low-floor bogie of Turkey, and commercialised it with Kayseri Tram Project. In June 2018, Bozankaya became the first Turkish company to export metro trains, with first shipments going to the Green Line Project in Bangkok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the project to success in terms of delivery of the agreed scope within the agreed timeline and the adequate quality, with full customer satisfaction,
• Managing the project budget and planning,
• Managing the customer and suppliers relationship,
• Coordinating all the subcontractors contributing to the Project,
• Managing, analyzing and mitigating the project’s risks.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in large scale international project management of rail systems, metro trains, trams or automotiv industry,
• Worked with Original Equipment Manufacturers; Siemens, Bombardier Transportation, Alstom or their suppleir network,
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills,
• Multi-sites management experience,
• Experience of project management in a matrix organization,
• Experience of business procedure requirements analysis,
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Fluent in English, as a second language German, France -Advantage
