QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Beylikduzu American Culture College is looking for an English Teacher for 2020-2021 School Year;
An ideal candidate;
*must have a university degree in English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Language and Literature.
*must have some experience teaching elementary/middle school students (preferably 3-5 years)
*must have an excellent command of written and spoken English (Fluency in English is a must for this position.)
*must have excellent communication skills with parents and students.
*must have a growth-oriented mindset.
*must be result-oriented.
*must be proactive.
*must be cooperative.
*will be responsible for assigned classes of elementary/middle school students.
*will teach an assigned coursework and give assignments for classes.
*will prepare and grade progress tests and MEB exams
*will meet with students to keep them on track as necessary
*will meet with colleagues to coordinate lesson plans and deal with specific subjects of expertise
*will hold parent conference to discuss students’ academic progress, remedial issues and behavior problems when necessary
*will communicate with parents on a monthly basis via phone call.
