The position will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible from Quality Assurance activities of all BERICAP Turkey. 

The position will be located in Bericap Turkey.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities

·         Point of contact for all questions referring to food safety & packaging/ recycling regulations for BERICAP products

·         Ensure that all local regulations are known and followed (related to the finished product) – including regular update and follow up according to legislation change

·         Approval of raw materials for use at BERICAP with regards to food safety, by reviewing documentation and organizing laboratory testing

·         Management of customer complaints, including liaising with the department responsible for the defect and, BERICAP customer service, and, if necessary, directly with the customer

·         Following actions for  improvement activities

·         Coordination of local supplier quality & specification agreements

·         Support in the definition of incoming inspection in the plants

·         Point of contact at local site for questions relating to microbiology

·         Team leader/member of HACCP Team (Risk Analysis for food safety, defining and carrying out actions etc)

·         Conduct and coordinate internal, external audits and supplier qualifications.

·         Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions

·         Follow up, manage and implement changes on quality management system documentation

·         Identify training needs of the team and organize training to meet quality standards

·         Ensuring that all departments work in line with the principles of the quality assurance system

REQUIRED

·         Bachelors Degree in Food, Chemical or Related Engineering Department,

·         Minimum 5-6 years of work experience in quality assurance departments in manufacturing plants.

·         Strong Knowledge on BRC, ISO9001, 14001, 45001 HACCP, GMP.

·         Experience on internal and external audits.

·         Lean tools, A3, 8D, Six Sigma and FMEA experience is preferred

·         Experience in food contact material - plastic packaging will be an asset

·         Experience in document management systems such as QDMS, Qmex

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

·         Strong organizational, communication, leadership and time management skills

·         Basic level knowledge of quality control systems

·         Project management skills
