Technical Area Professional

Barilla Turkey is looking for a Technical Area Professional based in Bolu city to join Supply Chain Team. The individual will report to the Technical Area Manager.

Job Purpose 

Ensure the effective management and execution of the plant maintenance activities, through an accurate planning and budgeting, coordinating the operational execution of both ordinary and extraordinary interventions and supporting plant project delivery and equipment repairing, under the supervision of Technical Area Manager and in compliance with Group policies and the applicable regulations.

Key Accountabilities 

·       Manage the definition of the annual plant maintenance plan, through the proposal and cost estimation of the maintenance priorities and activities, in alignment with the Plant objectives

·       Participate to the equipment investment plan definition, in collaboration, with the aim of improving the plant productivity

·       Ensure the preparation and follow up of plant annual maintenance budget, through a continuous monitoring and control of the activities and their costs, highlighting the gaps with the budget and implementing corrective options

·       Manage the operational execution of the plant ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions

·       Monitor and control of the production equipment and facilities obsolescence and productivity levels, through the analysis of the equipment lifecycle and the productivity indicators, their reporting and the proposal of improvement actions

·       Ensure the compliance of the maintenance operations with the applicable regulations, ISO procedures and Group policies, controlling their adequate observance, identifying the cases of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions if required.

·       Manage auxiliary facilities such as boiler room, compressed air unit etc.

·       Monitor and follow heat energy systems, natural gas consumption

·       Ensure the effective management and professional development of the assigned resources, ensuring their motivation, engagement and empowerment, through the definition and monitoring of learning and training plans and the cost and provision of guidance and feedback, in compliance with Group policies and in agreement with the HR Function

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

·       At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

·       Willingness to explore new technologies and drive continuous improvement

·       Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational/planning skills

·       Fluent in English

·       Experience on  AutoCAD

·       Residence in Bolu or able to move to Bolu city
