OBJECTIVE

• Fulfilling the requirements of ISO 22000, ISO 27001 (BGSY) , ISO 90001, ISO 6579
• Being responsible for the initiation and execution of the official licensing process of Bandırma Diagnosis and Poultry Laboratory
• Being responsible for the application, follow-up, and management of the required applications for the ISO 17025 Accreditation phase of the Bandırma Diagnosis and Poultry Laboratory
• Inclusion of Bandırma Diagnosis Laboratory in USKP (National Salmonella Control Program) and monitoring and management of it
• Organizing the regions of Izmir and Elazığ in case they are included in the USKP program and following them up 
• Making annual analysis plans, being involved in the general budget of the Bandırma Diagnosis Laboratory in budget structuring
• Checking the budget that has been prepared, following it up, reporting its deviations to the budget officers
• After the licensing and accreditation processes of the Bandırma Diagnosis Laboratory are completed, organizing, reporting, following up, and planning the fulfilment of the requests of the official authority
• Transferring the necessary information to the manager s/he is reporting to
• Following the legal processes and complying with them
• Planning and organizing training for the personnel working in laboratories when necessary
• Ensuring that the analyzes are carried out correctly and in accordance with the procedures. - Informing the supervisor of the necessary conditions for carrying them out
• Ensuring that the analysis results are reported
• Ensuring the participation of laboratories working on salmonella and serology in an international validation test once a year with 100% success
• Ensuring 100% compliance between and within laboratories with internal verifications or taking the necessary actions for ensuring it
• Transferring the obtained results to the affiliated units in a timely and accurate manner
• Having the results of the swaps received within the scope of the USKP published.
• Ensuring compliance with laws
• Being in cooperation with the regional supervisor in the laboratory work flow and business development
• Ensuring that the indications of Occupational Health and Safety topics are fulfilled

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology
• Advanced level of English in verbal and written
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in laboratory techniques and diagnostic treatment 
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and food technology standards;
• Knowledgeable on ISO 6579 and ISO 17025
• Knowledgeable on Veterinary Diagnosis and Treatment methods.
• Perfect knowledge about concepts and application of Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Productivity
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) programs
• Good understanding and use of problem solving tools (PDCA, Cause & Effect Diagram
