REQUIREMENTS

·         University Graduate in Environment Engineering, Mechanic Engineering, Electrical engineer orother related areas

·         Strong knowledge in Climate Change topic

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental Sustainability, focus on Climate Change and resource management

·         English: Advanced level

·         Technical knowledge and strong knowledge about management tools and leadership

·         Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

·         Knowledge of Implementation of TPM and PDCA Techniques

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to make the develop your team, manage resources, and solve the problems

·         Ability to work in a team environment and appropriately interact with all levels of the organization and represent the area in a professional manner

·         Familiar with GHG inventory and climate change global goals

·         Strong knowledge on environment control equipment

·         Knowledge about concepts and application of Efficiency and maintenance practices (preventive, predictive, corrective)

·         Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word)

·         Good understanding & application of problem-solving tools (PDCA, Cause & Effect Diagram)

·         To be proactive, take initiative (proactive)

·         Good organizational and communication skills

·         Good ability to work under pressure

·         Planning & coordination with multicultural environment

·         Drive license (required)

·         Availability to monthly travels to different plants in Turkey (Elazig, Izmir, Pamukçu and Bandirma) and eventually to other countries (Europe, Emirates, Brazil, Saudi Arabia)

·         Living in Bandırma but actuation in all plants (UEA / KSA / Elazig / Izmir)

DESCRIPTION

·         Follow and work to decrease carbon footprint on the BRF operation chain

·         Support the sustainability team collect information from the process and follow BRF GHG inventory

·         Support in the collection, compilation and consolidation of climate related data and information

·         Act as BRF international market focal point for Climate change and natural resource management

·         Coordinate and facilitate the organization of policy dialogues, workshops, and consultation meetings in close consultation with project team, government counterparts and other relevant stakeholders

·         Contribute to the preparation of various written outputs on climate change related specific topics, e.g., internal communications, external press releases, inputs and background materials for stakeholder’s meetings

·         Develop and coordinate projects to reduce carbon footprint in BRF operation in international market (production, logistic, agriculture)

·         Assist and support to formulate new concept notes and detail project proposals in the areas of climate change and natural resource management and contribute to resource mobilization

·         Evaluate CAPEX projects from an environmental sustainability perspective

·         Search for new technologies, procedures and innovations related to carbon efficiency

·         Doing internal checks to all plants in terms of Environmental Management System, focused on GHG emissions

·         Lead the implementation of BRF commitments related to carbon footprint in international markets

·         Follow technical standards, procedures, and work instructions, ensuring the presence of instructions on the necessary environment controls

·         Carry out a critical analysis of environment indicators and manage the action plan

·         Disseminate best practices

·         Assist in the preparation and apply technical trainings

·         Comply with HSE norms, instructions, and safe working procedures

·         Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems

·         Comply with reasonable HSE instructions and safe working procedures

·         Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures

·         Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety

·         Assist with the preparation of risk assessments

·         Report HSE hazards, incidents & issues
