QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • University degree within Marketing or Business Management/Economics,
  • Minimum 8 years of previous working experience of similar tasks and/or experience from a commercial function within the FMCG industry,
  • Trade marketing experience will be a plus,
  • Brand Strategy development, brand positioning and brand portfolio management experience,
  • Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills,
  • Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving skills,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office),
  • Strong analytical and P&L-management skills,
  • Self-motivated, energetic and ambitious,
  • Having commercial business interest and able to work towards long and short-term goals,
  • Being a strong team player with ability to work effectively as a part of a multi-functional team with strong networking skills.


Job Description


  • Developing and managing our brands and portfolios in Turkey & Abroad,
  • Draw up the annual marketing brand plan (strategy, actions, resources, budget) and contribute to the development of the marketing plan,
  • Managing product development process (launches & relaunches) for assigned category/brands,
  • Tracking activities and analyzing market, consumers and competition to understand trends and drivers and to develop data-driven strategies,
  • Creating and maintaining contacts within marketing team, local sales and supply chain,
  • Develop the business plan for the brand and monitor all its products operationally by taking into account the budget,
  • Execute the advertising strategies (both ATL & BTL) and support creating campaigns, promotions and indoor & outdoor activities,
  • Follow up consumer and PR activities to strengthen the competitive advantage of the brand,
  • Manage changes in packaging in coordination with internal stakeholders and procedures,
  • Monitor and analyze our own brand performance, and subsequently take the right corrective action,
  • Contribute to the development of the media strategy and brief the agency on it,
  • Contribute to the definition of the promotion strategy and brief the agency on this,
  • Follow up of the media plan,
  • Launching, managing, and optimizing Social Media Campaigns, Google Adwords and other digital channels with various agencies,
  • Working on new ideas, to reduce costs and increase revenues, via digital marketing,
  • Analyze and interpret the results of market research results (e.g. Nielsen, Gfk, Ipsos) and translate them into recommendations and actions,
  • Understand the target audience and gain insight into the market,
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing and Sales Functions to lead strategy on the execution of Brand events.
