Software Test Engineer

We invite you to a challenging career as a " Software Test Engineer"  in one of our customers who provides real-time photo-realistic 3D Virtual Studio and Augmented Reality platform with real-time node-based compositing system and its own proprietary keying technology. 

Summary

Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner. Analyze creation test documents, including test plans, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports. 

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills: 

 Duties & Responsibilities 

• Test performance and stability of software builds. 
• Perform manual visual test in our production studio environment and check for visual defects. 
• Set priorities, generate and organize client-driven test schedules. 
• Work closely with development team to prioritize test of new features and fixed bugs.
• Perform software testing in all phases of the design-develop-test-release-maintain software life cycle. 
• Report found bugs, replication steps and workarounds (when possible) to the development team. 
• Review daily commits (using GIT) in order to schedule required tests.  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Min three years of direct experience in software testing 
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, math or engineering is a big plus 
• A good understanding of the software development process 
• At least two year’s commercial experience testing client server architecture 
• Basic knowledge of various programming languages such as C++, C#, HLSL. 
• Experience with version control systems is a plus, GIT experience is excellent. 
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and graphic software is a big plus. 
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 Material Editor is a big plus. 
• Knowledge with Unreal Engine 4 Blueprints is a big plus. 
• Skill in reading documents written in English is required. 
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 
•  Practical and systematic approach to testing.
