THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Based in Istanbul, reporting to the Country Manager and the Europe Sales Director, the position calls for a Sales Engineer with strong services aptitudes.

 

Roles and responsibilities

-      Being responsible for selling all EF|AQM’s services in Turkey (Inspections, Audits, Trainings)

-      Handling the entire sales process from initial calls, face-to-faces up to presenting and negotiating sales contracts

-      Traveling frequently within his / her area

-      Strong ability to persuade along with the creativity needed to find ways to ‘close’

-      An eye for detail and comfortable working with reports / metrics to measure sales performance (with special emphasis on meeting weekly targets)

-      Being persistent to closely follow a list of accounts

-      Sharing best practices with other Sales Team Member and working together to achieve company sales targets

-      Attending / speaking in representation of AQM at industry events

-      Offering after-sales support services

-      Being an account manager, to feed and grow your customers

 

Experiences & qualifications

-         At least 5 years of experience in the textile industry.

-         Good understanding of the apparel supply chain is a must.  Consumer goods would be a plus.

-         At least 3 years of sales and portfolio management experience in the textile industry.

-         Knowledge in inspection, audit/certification business is a plus.

-        Tenacious and results-oriented salesperson (has demonstrated the ability to obtain significant sales results)

-        Autonomous!

-        Honesty and ethics beyond question

-        A great active listener to understand a client’s pain points (understands the importance of asking questions and talking < 25% of the total time)

-      Clear understanding of value added and consultative selling techniques

-      Ability to quickly understand / analyze a client’s pain points and offer solutions with measurable value generation and return on investment

-        Proficient in spoken and written English

-        Self-motivated / proactive
