Arkel is looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance Department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
• 3-6 years relevant financial controlling and reporting experience in a big four audit as a plus
• Knowledge and experience of corporate reporting
• Experienced in IFRS and Budgeting process
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills, high achievement drive and ability of taking initiative
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Military Service should be completed for male candidates,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparing periodical budgets, directing the Budget and Reporting Specialist on the actual budget, variance analysis, and performing the necessary controls for the completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Adapting management reports based on the Turkish Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), Tax Procedural Law (VUK), and the Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting systems
• Conducting cost improvement efforts to keep costs under control
• Preparation of the monthly variance analysis and bridge between budget, forecast, and actual results
• Performing financial analyses based on the company’s income statement and balance sheet figures and presenting them to the senior management
• Keeping track of the records, stock, and inventory status, asset-liability balance, current account, and collection and payments
• Conducting profitability analyses and preparing performance reports and presentations for periodical board meetings
• Conducting and reporting feasibility studies to support the company’s critical financial decisions
• Coordinating internal audits and process controls
• Conducting production, labor, and productivity analyses
• Preparing and publishing annual reports along with the Budget and Reporting Specialist
• Preparing the company’s financial statements based on the IFRS and performing the necessary controls
• Supporting the preparation of company budgets by cooperating and coordinating with the relevant units
• Displaying the necessary efficiency to ensure that the team’s relations with the other units remain positive and ensuring that the processes are executed in cooperation
