QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics &Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus),
- Having the desire to work on design and analysis of electric machines for industrial use and home appliances products,
- Having experience in electric motors operation principles and theory,
- Having experience in CAE tools such as SPEED as well as Flux and Ansys Maxwell or other types of motor design and electromagnetic analysis software is a plus,
- Having experience in designing electrical machines for operation utilizing sinusoidal supply or inverter,
- Strong knowledge of simulation/analysis software (Matlab Simulink (preferred), VisSim, Simplorer etc.),
- Having the desire to improve CAE tools in this area,
- No restriction for traveling,
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus),
- Thinking broadly about business,

JOB DESCRIPTION
WAT Motor is looking for a Specialist – R&D (Electric Motor Design) who will work for Production & Technology Directorate.
- Specialist is expected to work in a multi-disciplined team environment with highly qualified professionals.
- As such, driving business priorities, program execution needs, and a system view of problem-solving while executing detailed engineering activities in the specific field of expertise,
- Establishing close contact with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders,
- Coordinating with other departments to define & manage the projects,
- Researching and developing state-of-the-art engineering design solutions and manufacturing technologies for electric motors used in industrial and special purpose solutions,
- Developing detailed technical specifications for electric motors,
- Designing of electric motors in terms of electrical and electromagnetic properties,
- Optimizing electrical motor design using FEA tools such as Flux/Maxwell,
- Trade-off studying between performance and cost,
- Coordinating prototyping issues for new designs,
- Testing, verifying and validating the motor performance in lab,
- Delivering design and test reports for the products,
- Maintaining the commissioning activities for new product ranges and new designs until the serial production is deployed.
