Aon is looking for a Reinsurance Technical Accounting Specialist

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Reinsurance Solutions department in Istanbul.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
• Having a minimum of 3 years of experience in the finance or technical accounting departments of insurance or brokering firms. Audit experience as a starting point will be an asset
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
• Preferably has a working knowledge of technical insurance accounting or at least eager to learn
• Preferably has advanced knowledge and experience of MS office applications
• Hardworking, accurate, result-oriented, open to learn, team player

Job Description

• Performing technical analysis of accounts and system controls, month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Following brokerage and premium collections and payments by means of systematic reports and reconciliations with counterparts
• Preparing regular analysis reports to follow up business performance in respect of business lines (facultative and treaty)
• Booking and allocation fiduciary movements.
• Performing regular benchmark analysis of actual figures in comparison to budget of business lines
• Managing written and verbal communications with the clients abroad
